Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Agentic AI Developer to join our team. In this hands-on technical role, you will design, develop, and optimize AI agents to automate and enable critical IC/DoW mission functions. You will work with customer stakeholders, architects, data scientists, and database administrators to translate complex requirements into secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven organization and enjoy solving complex AI/ML engineering challenges, we want to hear from you. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale software or data systems.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting production-grade AI agents or AI-enabled applications, including agent orchestration, tool use, state management, error handling, and evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience developing RAG solutions, including data preparation, retrieval design, grounding, and prompt and context management.
  • Experience implementing MCP integrations to provide AI applications with controlled access to enterprise tools and data.
  • Experience working with geospatial intelligence data, including raster and vector data, spatial metadata, and analytic results.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R, with experience designing, developing, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs and data services.
  • Experience using machine-learning frameworks, AutoML capabilities, and notebook-based workflows to prototype, train, evaluate, and operationalize analytic or AI solutions.
  • Experience developing Node.js applications and web-based dashboards or user interfaces that integrate with Oracle Database.
  • Experience developing against Oracle Database and collaborating with database engineers to optimize schemas, queries, data access, and application interfaces.
  • Experience using OpenAI Codex or comparable AI-assisted development tools within approved environments while maintaining code quality, testing, review, and security practices.
  • Experience developing or deploying solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate mission requirements into actionable technical designs.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting IC or other federal mission systems.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle AI Database, including vector data types and Oracle AI Vector Search.
  • Experience with agent-development platforms and frameworks, such as Oracle AI Database Private Agent Factory.
  • Experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience developing data-centric applications and dashboards.
  • Experience deploying and operating cloud-based solutions, including networking, identity and access management, observability, and managed data services.
  • Experience operating AI applications in classified, regulated, or mission environments with security, auditability, and data-governance requirements.
  • Experience implementing safeguards against prompt injection, unauthorized tool use, and sensitive-data exposure.
  • Relevant Oracle certifications, including OCI architecture certifications.
