ICAM STS System Engineer

Technical responsibilities include AWS cloud-native software design, development, integration, testing, and operational maintenance of highly available, enterprise-level services. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week, normal day shift) at a Government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area., * Support AWS cloud-native software design, development, integration, testing, and operational maintenance of highly available, enterprise-level services

• Develop web services supporting an enterprise ICAM solution

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering or a related computer engineering or computer science discipline plus 5 years of software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree (9 years total). Candidates with 3 years of software engineering experience and a degree (or 7 years without a degree) will also be considered.
• 2 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of proficiency and skill with Java and JavaScript software development
• Experience with AWS native development, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM roles/permissions/SCPs
• Experience with Terraform and/or infrastructure-as-code
• Familiar with Linux environments
• Skilled at building robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
• Ability to write unit test cases using JUnit/Mock testing frameworks
• Experienced with automated builds using GitLab Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• PKI encryption and authentication
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
