Remote Senior Aerospace Software Engineer in United

This is a developer-first role for someone who combines strong software fundamentals with practical space-domain experience. You will take ownership of an existing development workstream, become a trusted technical resource for the program, and contribute to internal products and future customer projects.

Required: ~5 years total as SWE, 2+ years of professional software engineering experience within the space or aerospace industry, * Approximately five or more years of professional software-development experience. \n

• Strong software-engineering fundamentals and experience delivering production-quality applications. \n

• Backend development strength with some frontend capability. \n

• Professional experience with Python and one or more additional . \n

• Experience working across APIs, databases, cloud-hosted applications, or distributed systems. \n

• Practical experience within the space or satellite industry. \n

• Familiarity with space-mission, spacecraft-operations, ground-system, simulation, TT&C, or flight-dynamics workflows. \n

• Ability to independently learn an existing system and assume meaningful technical ownership. \n

• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with external engineering teams and customers. \n

• Willingness to wear multiple hats and work beyond a narrowly defined job description.
