Senior GeoSCADA Developer

We are seeking a talented Digital Solutions Architect to join our team and take charge of designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge industrial automation software solutions. As a Digital Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for creating robust and scalable software architectures that meet the specific needs of our clients and drive innovation in the industrial automation space., * Design and develop SCADA systems using various software suites, including Geo SCADA, AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, AVEVA (Wonderware) Historian, AVEVA (OSI) PI, Ignition SCADA, etc.

• Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control various industrial processes, such as manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities.

\n

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop solutions that align with their needs.

\n

• Lead a project team consisting of multiple engineering members of the Digital Solutions team, breaking down high level deliverables into work tasks and ensuring these deliverables meet quality standards.

\n

• Mentor and coach other engineering members for the Digital Solutions team.

\n

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and related components such as PLCs, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.

\n

• Integrate SCADA systems with historians (e.g., AVEVA PI, AVEVA Historian) for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting purposes.

\n

• Develop custom scripts using scripting languages (e.g., .NET, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, etc.) to enhance system functionality and performance.

\n

• Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure the accurate functioning of SCADA systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.

\n

• Perform system upgrades and modifications, adhering to industry best practices and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

\n

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and offering timely resolutions.

\n

• Participate in training to stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in SCADA technologies.

MUST HAVE: GeoScada and architecture experience, this is a SENIOR role, The ideal candidate is familiar with systems integration using a variety of technologies. It is not expected that they will have experience with all of them. A motivated and self-driven candidate with a background in a variety of industrial automation technologies will be the best fit. Innovative technologies may emerge as the Client and AVEVA software portfolios continue to grow., * Proven experience as a SCADA Architect, with a focus on Geo SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA PI, and Ignition SCADA.

• Expertise with various SCADA architectures, data modeling, and integration with other PLC/RTU/SCADA systems.

\n

• Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience (UX).

\n

• Experience with system integration using a variety of data access, including OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP3, JSON, REST, and XML.

\n

• Ability to create SQL databases to capture data streams and custom SQL queries/logic.

\n

• Create or modify PLC programs using Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Ladder Logic.

\n

• Experience with self-managing multiple project priorities and deliverables.
