Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, primarily with Java and related ecosystems.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, including schema design and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of Agile Methodologies, including Scrum or XP.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring techniques, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), CI/CD, Git.
- Experience working with Linux and open-source technologies.
- AWS Cloud experience highly preferred
- Financial services background-especially in mortgages or mortgage-backed securities-is a strong plus.
- AI engineering exposure, including use of AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or similar) and/or building AI-powered features, is preferred.
