Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the development and implementation of mission-critical defense technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced systems that support U.S. military and national security operations., * Perform requirements and risk analysis, development, tracking, validation, and verification management.

• Lead the generation of trade studies, use cases, and white papers.
• Provide technical writing support for large-scale proposal efforts.
• Develop system architecture and multi-level design drawings in accordance with Architecture Framework/IEEE standards.
• Apply top-down system level specifications and analyze requirements down to component level and across subsystems.
• Collaborate with partners and subcontractors to verify specifications and interface requirements and produce ICDs between multiple sub-systems.
• Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS), system design documents, network design, test plans, and other engineering artifacts as required.
• Participate in Technical Reviews and customer meetings.
• Conduct system performance modeling and analysis.
• Test software modules and integration between components/subsystems in lab environments and in the field.
• Support implementation efforts for domestic and international customers.
• Provide excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation of analyses, design decisions, and implementations.

• At least 5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or complex integrated systems.
• Professional experience developing and managing system requirements using tools such as DOORS or equivalent.
• Familiarity with system modeling and engineering tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar.
• Professional knowledge of distributed system architectures, network technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
• Hands-on experience with software configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
• Knowledge of military standards including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, IPC Standards.
• Proficiency in theoretical and applied knowledge of C2-4ISR subject areas.
• Ability to conduct effective training and present a professional appearance.
• Evaluate field performance and product failures, and recommend, evaluate, and implement product improvements.
• Accurately document designs through creation and maintenance of design requirement specifications, product drawings, and material specifications in accordance with ISO requirements., Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This position requires working onsite five days a week with the choice of working hours from 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The environment is collaborative and offers the opportunity to engage with cross-functional teams. Engineers have the chance to contribute throughout the full product lifecycle, from requirements and design through integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $73.00/hr.
