Senior Network Engineer

TEKsystems is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support one of our partner companies. The role will be responsible in helping design and architect the network infrastructure. This role will also help with resolving elevated network requests, trouble calls, and complete required documentation such as: trouble tickets, network access requests, service requests, etc. The role may also help with leading and coordinating network projects dealing with firewalls, routers, switches, network security, etc.

Do you have experience in Telecommunications network troubleshooting?, Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting of Cisco Networks (routers, switches, firewalls) - for example 8500/4500/C9300/C9500 or comparable.

Experience in supporting corporate enterprise networks.

Experience in WAN and LAN technologies

Be willing to work afterhours and weekends when needed.

Skills Preferred:

CCNP Certification

Support of Firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.)

Support of Meraki Networks (MX68s, Meraki APs)

Previous experience working with Telecom Carriers

Experience with the following Network applications (or similar):

• Solarwinds
• LiveNX
• ThousandEyes
• Cisco ISE
• Panorama
• Cisco Catalyst Dashboard
• Meraki Dashboard
