End User Systems Architect

• Architect and implement end-to-end EUC solutions, including VDI brokering with Omnissa Horizon, hypervisor and desktop compute on Nutanix and AWS WorkSpaces, application virtualization, device management, and endpoint security
• Design and optimize cloud-native and hybrid EUC strategies leveraging services from AWS and Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, and networking components
• Develop and maintain enterprise standards for endpoint provisioning, OS image management, software deployment, security baselines, and automation workflows
• Create technical roadmaps and documentation that support enterprise migration away from legacy or disruptive vendors to modern, multi-cloud solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise on platforms such as Omnissa Horizon, Nutanix, AWS WorkSpaces, Workspace ONE, Google Administration, OneLogin, Commvault, AD/GPO, and cloud-based VDI/DaaS
• Partner with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure all EUC solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms that support a secure and scalable EUC environment, and contribute to POCs and pilot implementations
• Implement and support automated software delivery and packaging processes that align with application readiness and business demands
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to support device lifecycle automation, user onboarding workflows, and self-service enablement for end users
• Translate business and user requirements into technical solutions that balance performance, cost, user experience, and long-term supportability

Our enterprise solutions team is seeking an AVP, End User Computing (EUC) Architect to define and implement enterprise-wide EUC architecture and solutions across virtual desktop infrastructure, mobile device management, software packaging and delivery, endpoint security, and identity platforms. This role will establish technical standards, modernize infrastructure, and design cloud-integrated EUC environments that improve user experience, support compliance, and reduce operational complexity. The architect will work across on-premise and cloud-based platforms, with deep experience in Omnissa Horizon, Nutanix, AWS WorkSpaces, and related EUC technologies, as well as strong knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform foundational services. The ideal candidate can translate business and user requirements into secure, scalable, cost-effective desktop strategies and lead technical roadmaps, automation initiatives, and cross-functional implementations., * 7+ years of experience in end user computing architecture, endpoint engineering, or EUC infrastructure roles

• Expertise in VDI platforms with Omnissa Horizon for brokering and Nutanix and AWS WorkSpaces for hypervisor/desktop compute, plus desktop OS lifecycle and enterprise deployment frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based EUC environments, including Omnissa Horizon, Nutanix (NC2/AHV), and AWS WorkSpaces; AppStream or Google Cloud Platform equivalent services are a plus
• Strong working knowledge of AWS core services (e.g., EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch) and foundational infrastructure design to support virtual desktop and endpoint strategies
• 2+ years of experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu, or AWS CDK for provisioning, configuration management, and automation of EUC-related infrastructure
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate endpoint configurations, software deployments, and EUC management workflows
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and self-service enablement for device provisioning and application delivery
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity platforms, endpoint security controls, and policy enforcement
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into scalable, supportable architectural designs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of authoring design documents, technical diagrams, and implementation plans
• Experience deploying VDI or DaaS (Desktop-as-a-Service) solutions using Omnissa Horizon for brokering and Nutanix and/or AWS WorkSpaces for hypervisor/compute; AppStream or Google Cloud Platform-based equivalents are a plus
• Experience with software packaging tools and automated deployment strategies for Windows/macOS environments
• Exposure to cross-cloud networking, policy enforcement, and multi-platform endpoint compliance

Preferred (Optional):

• Familiarity with Commvault, Google Workspace Administration, and zero trust security principles; prior VMware (vSphere, VMC, Horizon) experience is helpful and transferable but not required
• AWS or Google Cloud Platform certifications related to architecting cloud infrastructure or desktop solutions

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $74.54 - $84.54 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
