You will develop and maintain features, resolve defects, and write tests, with guidance from senior team members on complex tasks.

You will work with technologies including Java, microservices, Kafka, PostgreSQL/MySQL and cloud platforms.What the role offers:As a Software Developer, you will:Deliver resilient and sustainable software projects, managing the entire process from design to implementation and rollout.Execute defined projects to attain team-level goals, collaborating with the team to comprehend client challenges.Prioritize tasks with the manager to deliver high-quality results that add significant value for the client.Make informed and timely decisions by gathering input from others and considering client needs.Communicate project information effectively to the manager, team, and clients, sharing relevant insights.Demonstrate proficiency in consistently delivering high-quality code, translating business requirements into simple projects, navigating large code bases, and debugging other people’s code.Possess 2-5 years of previous professional experience.What you need to Succeed3+ years of experience

developing and maintaining software applications.Working proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, and SOAP/REST APIs.Experience in web development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.Familiarity with JSON and AJAX; exposure to GWT/GXT and JAXB is beneficial.Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and object-oriented design.Familiarity with Docker containers and deployment workflows.Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Maven, JUnit, Selenium, and Apache Tomcat.Experience writing unit tests and participating in integration testing and CI/CD.Awareness of AI concepts and an interest in their use in software development.One last thingOpenText is more than a corporation-it’s a global community built on trust, character, and purpose.
