Propulsion Base Software Senior Core Development Engineer

Stellantis seeks a Propulsion Base Software Sr Core Development Engineer to design, implement, and integrate base software for next-generation propulsion and EV platforms.

You will develop embedded C/C++ software, configure AUTOSAR BSW, and enable reliable communication over CAN, LIN, and other in-vehicle networks. Collaborating with cross-functional global teams, you’ll ensure software meets performance, safety, and quality targets, support integration and debugging on benches and vehicles, and contribute to continuous improvement of architecture and development processes in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Design and implement base software for propulsion and EV control units Configure and integrate AUTOSAR basic software modules Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ code for real-time automotive systems Integrate and validate software on benches and in vehicles Debug communication and performance issues on CAN, LIN, and other networks Collaborate with systems, calibration, and hardware teams globally Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and coding standards Contribute to software architecture and continuous process improvement Embedded C/C++ AUTOSAR BSW CAN/LIN/FlexRay communication UML/System modeling RTOS development Version control (Git) Continuous integration (Jenkins/GitLab CI) Software debugging & profiling Requirements management tools (DOORS/Polarion) Functional safety concepts Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASPICE or ISO 26262 familiarity Autosar certification (preferred) Embedded software safety or reliability certification (preferred)
