Join a highly skilled team responsible for ensuring secure, reliable communications that support national defense objectives.Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto).Monitor network performance, identify connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve incidents.Implement and support networking technologies including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, GRE tunnels, UDP multicast, WAN optimization, and TCP/IP network architectures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network upgrades, installations, infrastructure enhancements, and operational projects.Travel to remote sites to perform network installations, lead troubleshooting efforts, and provide status updates to program stakeholders, including support during evenings and weekends when required.Required Qualifications
