Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus)

We’re looking for a hands-on AI Agent Engineer with strong backend development skills to help design and deliver production-ready agentic solutions that streamline real business workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ambiguous problems into reliable, scalable systems and collaborating closely with product and domain experts to create measurable impact. Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and subject matter experts to understand workflows, define requirements, and align on success criteria for agent-based solutions.
• Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents, automations, and internal tools powered by LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Create multi-agent workflows that can coordinate tasks, make decisions, and hand off work through structured processes.
• Develop orchestration logic that supports tool integration, context handling, state management, retries, caching, and failure recovery.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data models that support agent-powered applications.
• Connect AI solutions with internal systems and external tools through APIs and other integrations.
• Implement evaluation methods, guardrails, quality checks, and human review steps to improve reliability and accuracy.
• Support production systems by monitoring performance, identifying improvements, and iterating on workflows based on outcomes.
• Apply strong engineering practices such as testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD, and staged deployments.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend development and production systems.
• 2+ years of practical experience building AI agents and agent-powered applications using code.
• Strong experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid understanding of system design, API design, data modeling, and scalable architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with access control, error handling, monitoring, and production support.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, ask the right questions, and take ownership from discovery through deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Exposure to agent frameworks such as Google ADK and LangGraph.
• Experience with Electron-based desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation.
• Basic DevOps experience, including Docker and CI/CD.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• A builder mindset with a focus on practical outcomes, efficiency gains, and continuous improvement.
