ServiceNow Developer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, integrations, and CMDB/CSDM implementation. This role will be instrumental in driving CMDB maturity, supporting cross-functional integrations, and contributing to the evolution of our ServiceNow ecosystem.

Day to Day:

• Develop and maintain custom applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
• Enhance and maintain the CMDB, ensuring alignment with CSDM standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SACM and SPM initiatives
• Participate in CMDB maturity projects, including data modeling and governance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality and performance
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and platform updates

1. 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
2. Proficient in:
3. APIs and Integrations
4. Scoped Applications
5. JavaScript and ServiceNow Scripting
6. Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
7. Service Requests and Catalog Items
8. CMDB and ServiceNow Discovery
9. Strong understanding and practical experience with CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
10. Experience with program/project-level CMDB maturity initiatives
11. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
12. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
