Secret Cleared System Administrator

We are looking for a Secret-cleared Mid-Level Systems Administrator to provide hands-on support within a technical/lab environment. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of both Windows and Linux systems, while also assisting with basic networking and connectivity issues. The role will primarily handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including diagnosing hardware and software issues, managing user and system configurations, monitoring system health, performing routine updates and maintenance, and escalating more complex issues as needed.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in systems administration and is comfortable working across multiple operating systems rather than specializing in only one. They should be willing to learn new technologies, work hands-on with equipment in a lab environment, and take ownership of assigned tasks through resolution. This person will also be expected to document their work, communicate status and issues to the team, and help maintain reliable and secure day-to-day system operations., * Provide Tier 1/2 support across Windows and Linux systems

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, user, and network connectivity issues
• Perform system configuration, maintenance, updates, and monitoring
• Support equipment and systems in a hands-on lab environment
• Assist with basic networking configuration and troubleshooting
• Document assigned tasking, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system status
• Escalate complex Tier 3 issues when necessary
• Communicate progress, issues, and completed work to the appropriate team members
• Learn new systems, tools, and technologies based on evolving program needs

• Active Secret clearance
• 2-8 years of Systems Administration / IT experience
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM-related discipline
• Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments
• Tier 1-2 troubleshooting/support experience
• Security+ or relevant Systems Administration certification, such as Linux+
• Networking knowledge and/or certifications, such as Cisco certifications
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
• Ability and willingness to learn technologies outside of their primary area of expertise
