SAP Consultant with WM-Vertical Lift Modules & 3P Logistics experience - REMOTE

VLM Integration: Lead the technical integration and configuration of Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) and other Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) with the core Warehouse Management System (WMS). Optimize “goods-to-person” picking workflows. 3PL Integration & Management: Design, configure, and maintain electronic data interchange (EDI/API) interfaces between internal systems and external Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless inventory synchronization, shipping notifications, and receipt confirmations. System Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of warehouse processes, including inbound receiving, putaway strategies, slotting, picking, packing, and physical inventory.

Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry, with a solid understanding of A&D compliance (e.g., ITAR, EAR, serial/batch traceability, and government-furnished property)., Proven experience configuring and supporting enterprise-grade Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP EWM/WM or equivalent). Hands-on experience integrating WMS with automated storage hardware, specifically VLMs (e.g., Kardex, Modula). Experience designing and troubleshooting interfaces (EDI, IDocs, APIs) with 3PL providers. Business Analysis: Strong background in business analysis, process mapping, and writing functional specifications.
