Job description
You’ll build and operate the infrastructure that runs E2B in customers’ AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure environments.
You’ll develop reusable Terraform modules, Helm charts, and automation for Kubernetes deployments, and take responsibility for how that infrastructure runs in production. The work spans cloud-specific integrations, upgrades, and the tools needed to manage a growing fleet of customer environments.
You’ll work with software engineers across Enterprise Engineering to make customer deployments reliable and easy to operate.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain versioned Terraform modules, Helm charts, and Kubernetes configurations for supported deployments on EKS, GKE, and AKS.
- Own the production reliability of customer cluster infrastructure. Improve monitoring, alerting, capacity management, and recovery, and fix recurring operational problems.
- Make infrastructure packages reusable across customer environments. Define configuration interfaces, compatibility checks, and release processes, and test installation, scaling, upgrades, rollbacks, and security patches.
- Diagnose and resolve problems across Kubernetes, cloud networking, IAM, certificates, and storage, including private connectivity into customer environments.
- Work with customer infrastructure and security teams on access controls, secrets management, isolation, and auditability.
- Build infrastructure automation and contribute code to the orchestration services that deploy and operate E2B. Develop tests, deployment validation, drift detection, diagnostics, and runbooks that reduce manual work.
- Work with FDE, Solutions, and Support on complex deployments and technical escalations, joining customer troubleshooting when needed.
You’ll participate in production on-call for the components you own.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience operating business-critical services.
- Deep experience operating and debugging production Kubernetes clusters, including networking, access control, node lifecycle, scheduling, autoscaling, and storage.
- Strong Terraform and Helm skills, including production module and chart development, versioning, testing, and upgrades.
- Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure, with the ability to work across providers. You should understand cloud networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, including process isolation, filesystems, DNS, TCP/IP, and troubleshooting resource constraints.
- Experience using metrics, logs, and traces to diagnose production issues, and testing recovery procedures.
- Ability to write automation in Go, Python, Bash, or similar, and contribute tested changes to existing services.
- Ability to explain technical tradeoffs and work through deployment issues with customer infrastructure teams.
- Ability to take a problem from investigation through a production fix., * Building AI agents or applications that use tools, execute code, or run in sandboxes.
- BYOC, self-hosted, or managed enterprise software in customer-controlled infrastructure.
- Operating large fleets of Kubernetes clusters across organizations or clouds.
- GitOps, Argo CD, Flux, Kubernetes operators, or custom controllers.
- Air-gapped environments, on-premises deployments, or stringent enterprise security.
- OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar observability tools.
- Firecracker, microVMs, sandbox isolation, or infrastructure for untrusted workloads.
- Building deployment automation or internal infrastructure platforms.
- Open-source infrastructure contributions.
