Job description
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to enable efficient and reliable software deployments.
- Work extensively with APIs, including integration, troubleshooting, automation, and operational support.
- Contribute to high-level system design discussions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across application, infrastructure, and deployment environments.
- Manage and maintain SSL/TLS certificates, certificate renewals, and related security configurations.
- Monitor system health, application performance, and infrastructure using tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate operational processes and improve deployment efficiency.
- Support production environments, ensuring high availability and timely incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories using Confluence and track work items through Jira.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Implement and promote DevOps best practices, security standards, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD (Mandatory).
- Good understanding and practical experience working with APIs (REST, Web Services, API integrations) (Mandatory).
- Good knowledge of High-Level System Design and architecture concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure and applications.
- Experience in handling and managing SSL/TLS certificates and related security configurations.
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:
- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Splunk
- Dynatrace
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with automation and infrastructure management tools.
