Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

• Discover and deliver new modules and features end to end, together with product managers, UX designers and other senior engineers.
• Design, develop, deploy and operate frontend and backend applications (React/Next.js, Python).
• Build on our shared platform (patient and case data, permissions, configuration) and extend it where your work needs it.
• Integrate AI features, from LLM-based assistance to automation, with a high bar for quality and safety.
• Take part in architecture decisions and document them as architecture decision records.
• Mentor colleagues and help shape our engineering culture as the team grows.

Team

You will join an engineering team that is currently growing to 15-20 engineers, working in an open and motivated environment that values ideas and initiative.

Please note that this position requires work authorization for Germany.

Language: English - Conversational (B1-B2)

• Proven track record of building and operating production web applications across the stack, with senior-level experience in a Python backend framework (Django REST Framework, FastAPI or Flask) and in React/Next.js.
• Strong system design and data modeling skills.
• Solid DevOps and infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS).
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems.
• Product mindset and a pragmatic, hands-on attitude.
