Job description

  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources.
  • Maintaining databased and data analysis systems.
  • Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and ā€œcleanā€ data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to located and correct code problems.
  • Quality control assessments of data.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving techniques to gain insights about data.
  • Work with management to prioritize work.
  • Maintain inter-department relationships to resolve client issues.
  • Effectively communicate with service providers, IT management, and IT infrastructure groups.
  • Support the business’ current needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical report writing?, We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst! The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing excellent customer service and support for IT as well as the other divisions of the agency. The ability to multitask and balance a variety of tasks consistently throughout the day is vital. Due to the nature of this role, well-suited individuals will need strong SQL and data analysis skills., * Minimum of 3 years professional analyst experience or 3 years work experience in a similar role.

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and data segmentation techniques.
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
  • T-SQL/MSSQL knowledge and use is required.
  • Strong knowledge/experience with reporting platforms, data tools, and programming tools (MS SQL Server, MS Power BI, MS SQL Server Management Studio, MS SQL Server Data Tools/MS Business Intelligence Data Studio, XML data models, JSON data models, MS SQL Server Integration Studio).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (MS Excel, MS SQL Analysis Services).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills with the ability to communicate in small to mid-size group settings.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mind, and excellent ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environment and tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
