  • Applying proper testing, source control and deployment practices to everything you build
  • Explaining options and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Evaluating new Fabric capabilities and recommending where they could add value

Requirements

  • Proven background working as a Data Engineer with experience designing and delivering enterprise data solutions end to end in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses and notebooks
  • SQL plus Python or Spark for data transformation and integration
  • Experience with source control, testing and deployment practices for data solutions
  • The ability to understand business and finance processes and turn them into effective data solutions
  • Previous experience working in financial or professional services organisations - Preferred
  • Able to work in the Manchester office three days a week

Nice to have

  • Experience with financial systems, reconciliations or financial reporting data
