Enterprise Architect

• Establish architectural governance, processes, and frameworks across the programme
• Support the design and implementation of enterprise-wide cloud and AI foundations
• Develop and shape target-state enterprise and solution architecture
• Provide architectural oversight and technical challenge across multiple teams
• Support the transition from high-level architecture design to delivery and implementation
• Coordinate architecture decisions across cloud, infrastructure, security, and technology teams
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, and governance requirements
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive architectural decisions and technology adoption

• Security, We are supporting a major AI transformation programme seeking an Enterprise Architect to focus on AI platforms, Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture, and the governance and frameworks needed for enterprise-wide adoption. This is an initial three-month contract based in Edinburgh with hybrid working, paying £650-£700 per day inside IR35. ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as the employment business for this vacancy.

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or similar in a large enterprise environment, ideally in financial services
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture
• Good understanding of AI platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise AI adoption
• Experience establishing architectural governance, frameworks, and ways of working
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and target-state architecture
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
