Deployment Lead

This role sits at the center of a fast-growing AI services firm whose constraint right now is not sales, it is delivery leadership. The founders are running every client engagement today, and the work is signing faster than that can continue. The Engagement Manager steps in to own client relationships end to end: scoping with stakeholders, directing engineers, making the calls that keep a project moving, and carrying it through go-live. The first engagement is already on the books, a post-M&A migration at a portfolio company, ready for someone to lead it with two engineers on day one., 1. Serve as the engagement lead on every signed project, from initial scoping with business stakeholders through engineer direction and go-live delivery

1. Define ambiguous problem scopes alongside the system owners and decision-makers who have to live with the outcome
2. Direct a small team of engineers, make prioritization calls in real time, and keep delivery on track without escalating everything
3. Present readouts and progress updates directly to executive sponsors, building the trust that turns one engagement into the next
4. Identify and develop follow-on opportunities within existing client relationships, particularly across portfolio company networks, with commission upside on self-sourced work
5. Document repeatable patterns across engagements and begin productizing shared components as the practice scales
6. Contribute to hiring and developing the next layer of engagement leads as client volume grows

Customer Relations, Leadership, Mergers and Acquisitions, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Establish Priorities, Management Consulting, Machine Tool, Consulting, Data Migration, The ideal candidate comes out of McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, a private equity value-creation team, or a deployment-focused technology firm. You have three to five years of experience, you are operationally sharp, and you can hold a room of VPs without needing a script. You want to be close to the frontier of how real operating companies adopt AI, and you would rather own something than wait for a promotion cycle., * 3 to 5 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG), on a private equity value-creation team, or in a deployment-focused technology role

• Demonstrated ability to run an engagement independently: ambiguous scope, demanding clients, and a technical team that needs clear direction
• Operational excellence in practice, decks are accurate, models tie, and clients hear back the same day
• Comfort presenting to and influencing VP and C-suite audiences
• Willingness and ability to use AI tooling aggressively or to learn fast with strong 80/20 judgment
• Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates

Preferred Skills

• Experience inside a portfolio company during a period of operational or data complexity
• Background that combines consulting with a stretch inside a private equity firm or its portcos
• Prior exposure to post-merger integration, data migration, or enterprise technology deployment
• Genuine interest in building a practice, not just executing within one
