Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst will design, develop, manage, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions within Microsoft Azure. This role transforms complex data into actionable business insights through advanced analytics, leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure AI services to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and predictive analytics., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and PL/SQL procedures.

• Manage and optimize Azure Synapse Analytics, including SQL and Spark pools, and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse environments.
• Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and functions to support enterprise data integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical objectives and develop datasets optimized for Power BI reporting.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities using Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Implement and maintain data governance, quality, and security standards using Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop cross-functional reports, dashboards, and predictive analytics models to support business intelligence and decision-making.

Data Analysis, Microsoft Windows Azure, Data Analysis, Data Management, Enterprise Data Integration, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Predictive Modeling, Data Warehousing, Database Extract Transform and Load (ETL), Oracle PL-SQL, * 7+ years of experience in enterprise data analytics, engineering, and designing complex ETL workflows.

• 7+ years of advanced SQL and PL/SQL experience, including query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
• 7+ years of experience organizing, prioritizing, and following complex and detailed technical procedures.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, or Scala.
• 4+ years of expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and cloud data warehousing.
• 4+ years of experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Azure.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access control (RBAC), and cloud security.
• 3+ years of familiarity with Power BI semantic models and dataflows.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Highly Desired Skills

• 3+ years of knowledge of Azure OpenAI or generative AI data integration.
