NET API Developer

As a .NET API Developer , you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs and microservices that support critical banking applications. You will be a valued member of the engineering team, collaborating closely with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and client teams to deliver innovative digital solutions for the financial services industry., * Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and ASP.NET MVC Core.

• Own the API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, and production support.
• Build scalable microservices architectures that promote resiliency, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize database integrations, data models, and SQL queries to support business and application requirements.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage Apigee for API management, security policies, gateway integrations, and API governance.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Jira to support CI/CD processes, source control, release management, and work tracking.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 5 to 8 years of experience in .NET application development, API engineering, and microservices architecture who enjoy solving complex business challenges in a fast-paced Agile environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5 to 8 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and ASP.NET MVC Core.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Apigee API Management, including API security, policies, and gateway implementation.
• Strong SQL and relational database development skills, including query optimization and data modeling.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and Jira.

The annual salary for this position is between $62,500 - $107 ,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
