Job description
- Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS to support banking and financial services applications.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives, including migration of legacy applications, databases, and infrastructure to AWS platforms.
- Architect and implement AWS-native solutions using services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with financial industry security, governance, risk, and regulatory requirements, including data protection and audit standards.
- Define and enforce cloud architecture best practices for networking, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with application development, DevOps, security, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver cloud-based banking solutions.
- Design CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation tools.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency while maintaining service-level objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and guidance on cloud adoption strategies, modern application design, and microservices architecture.
- Monitor emerging AWS technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and digital banking capabilities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS architecture and cloud engineering.
- Experience in banking, payments, capital markets, lending, or fintech organizations.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, networking, DevOps, and containerization technologies., BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
