Platform Engineer

We’re partnering with a venture-backed AI startup in New York building autonomous software for engineering teams. Their AI agents investigate production issues, find root causes and ship fixes. They’re backed by a top-tier Series A and are hiring a Platform Engineer to build the foundations the company runs on., You’ll own the backend services and data systems that the AI agents, product and customer integrations depend on., * Build backend services in TypeScript on top of that data

• Develop the integration layer connecting agents to customer environments, including authentication
• Improve service infrastructure on Kubernetes, including deploys and observability

• 3+ years in backend or platform engineering, ideally at a startup or AI-native company
• Strong TypeScript and production Kubernetes experience
• Strong systems design and data modelling skills
• Heavy daily use of AI tools in your workflow
• Bonus: OAuth or API gateways, OpenTelemetry, Kafka or ClickHouse, or LLM and agent systems
• Small team with real ownership and direct access to the founders
• Frontier agentic AI work on a product engineers relate to
• Meaningful early-stage equity alongside a strong base

Compensation: $200,000 to $300,000 base, flexibility to go higher for exceptional candidates, plus equity
