Job description

Detailed Job Description: This position maintains nine OPWDD Java web applications (Daily Event Management System. Division of Quality Improvement Application, Fire Safety Portal, Incident Report and Management Application, Message Application Maintenance System, Respite Fee System, SEMP Employment Tracking System, SEMP Fee System, and The Basic Security for the Web). This position is responsible for all work involving design, development, testing and implementation of an application throughout the System Development Life Cycle. As needed, this position supports enterprise projects and provides training and mentoring to less experienced developers. Specifically, this position will play a lead role in the authentication replacement to Ny.gov for five of these applications listed.

Requirements

84 months of experience programming server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
60 months of experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
48 months of development experience in database design and object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
48 months programming experience with Java Server Faces.
36 months of programming experience with Java Persistence API.
36 months of experience with Java Script/jQuery
