Senior Backend Developer

Our primary in-house platform is a ASP.NET 8 monolith backed by a MySQL database., * Architect, Build, Maintain and Deploy new business features.

• Work alongside product and other developers in a team oriented environment.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Write and maintain data access logic using Dapper / MySQL, while ensuring
• query performance is preserved or improved to maintain SLA.
• Introduce and maintain automated test coverage (unit and integration) using
• NUnit as a standard part of all extraction and feature work.
• Analyze and refactor legacy modules of the existing platform into independently
• deployable and testable ASP.NET Core services, following the established
• decomposition roadmap.
• Define service contracts and communication patterns between newly extracted
• services and the remaining monolith during the transition period.

Do you have experience in Web services design?, * 6+ years of C# ASP.NET experience.

• 5+ years of SQL database experience.
• Strong background in building large scalable software.
• Experience defining service contracts, functional expectations and test
• boundaries.
• Proven ability to introduce a testing culture into a codebase with limited existing
• coverage without disrupting delivery velocity.

Must be proficient in:

• C#
• Backend API Development
• .NET Core 7+ DI / Configuration / Logging
• ASP.Net Core / MVC / WebAPI
• Dapper / Json.Net
• HTTP / REST / JSON
• SQL Databases: MySql or MSSQL

Should also be familiar with:

• React / Bootstrap / Tailwind or other frontend framework
• Redis
• RabbitMQ
• Nginx
• Git
• Major cloud provider (AWS / GCP / Azure), * C# ASP.NET: 6 years (Required)
• SQL database: 5 years (Required)
