Job description

  • Manage and maintain company servers, networks, cloud services, and overall IT infrastructure.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and user access management.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure business continuity.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network equipment.
  • Support and administer business applications, including Vista by Viewpoint, CRM platforms, and other operational software.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, permissions, and equipment deployment.
  • Provide technical support for office staff and field personnel, resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including patch management, endpoint protection, access controls, and security monitoring.
  • Manage system backups, disaster recovery processes, and data protection initiatives.
  • Coordinate software upgrades, system implementations, and technology improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and system inventories.
  • Work with external vendors, software providers, and IT partners to support company technology needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT disaster recovery planning?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 3-5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or IT Infrastructure Support.

  • Strong experience administering:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server environments
  • Network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Vista by Viewpoint or similar business management systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, system hardening, patch management, and access controls.
  • Experience with data backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting mobile and field-based employees is a plus.
  • Construction, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or field-service industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or related certifications are a plus.
