Job description

We are seeking an experienced Test Technician III to support advanced engineering test and evaluation activities in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment. This role will provide technical support to engineering teams through hardware and software testing, data analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and stress testing of complex electronic systems., * Perform advanced technical assignments supporting engineering test and evaluation activities.

  • Conduct stress testing and validation of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Execute and document hardware and software test procedures.
  • Gather, compile, analyze, and maintain technical data, test results, and engineering changes.
  • Troubleshoot electronic assemblies, circuit cards, sensors, actuators, and related systems.
  • Interpret test data and make quantitative assessments regarding system performance and reliability.
  • Perform detailed calculations and preliminary engineering analysis using established procedures.
  • Generate technical reports, test documentation, schematics, flowcharts, block diagrams, and engineering records.
  • Utilize computer-based tools and software applications to analyze test data and produce reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers to support product development, system modifications, and performance improvements.
  • Research technical issues and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in determining testing methods, procedures, and operational sequences.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control systems?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, The ideal candidate will have experience with C#, Git, hardware/electronics testing, circuit troubleshooting, and engineering documentation. Candidates with aerospace, defense, avionics, or electronic systems testing backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply., * Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree and 7+ years of experience in a technical, engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with C# programming.
  • Experience using Git version control.
  • Strong background in hardware, electronics, or electromechanical testing.
  • Experience conducting and documenting test procedures.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with eCASS testing systems.
  • Experience performing SSR or system stress testing.
  • Aerospace, defense, avionics, or military electronics experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and engineering test methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience working with instrumentation systems and laboratory test equipment.
