Secret Cleared Linux Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based systems within a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in systems engineering, system design, and IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on security protocols and compliance standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects that support critical operations, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our technological environment. Key Responsibilities, * Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers in a client server enterprise environment.

• Support systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SuSe, and various virtual appliances.
• Ansible- for automation and configuration mngmt- writing playbooks to stand up server, config environments and deploy apps
• Scripting- to automate tasks- handle patching, updates, deployments
• CI/CD pipeline- continuous integration, continuous deployment; automate
• Gitlab - used to store code, run pipelines and manage deployments
• Review and define system configurations
• Create automation scripts for deployment and configuration
• Review and deploy software applications
• Provide support for testing, demos, and technical interchange meetings.
• Perform troubleshooting, patching, hardening, and configuration management.
• Support virtualization environments (VMware).

Do you have experience in Linux?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, Candidates must meet ONE of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience
• Associate’s degree + 6 years of relevant experience
• No degree + 8 years of relevant experience

Clearance Requirements

• Top Secret OR
• Fully adjudicated Secret with ability for program to sponsor Interim Top Secret (approx. 30 days to obtain)

Certification Requirements

• DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+) - required at start
• OS Software Certification (e.g., Linux+) - required within 6 months of start
