Job description
We are seeking a skilled, fully remote Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our healthcare applications are highly available, secure, scalable, and compliant with industry healthcare regulations (HIPAA)., Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and provision secure cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible (AWS environment preferred).
CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
Monitoring & Logging: Implement robust system monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all cloud environments conform to strict healthcare security standards, data encryption protocols, and HIPAA compliance regulations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, Experience: 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role.
Cloud Platforms: Strong proficiency with cloud providers, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
Tools & Automation: Deep experience with Docker, Terraform, Git, and shell scripting (Python, Bash).
Security Mindset: Prior experience working in a regulated environment (HIPAA, HITRUST, or PCI-DSS compliance) is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, self-motivated to work independently in a fully remote environment, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
