Job description

  • Backend engineer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture, along with exposure to BDD-based testing (Python Behave)and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Contribute to API design, integration, and performance optimization across distributed systems
  • Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, and sprint deliverables
  • Collaborate with QA teams to support BDD-based test automation using Python Behave
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD practices, and version control (GitHub)
  • Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality
  • Contribute to problem-solving, defect resolution, and production support as needed

LI-RM1 - Hybrid

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161-544.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
