Job description

Are you an automotive professional looking to combine your passion for vehicles with cutting-edge software and diagnostic technology? We are seeking a Diagnostic Scan Tool Automated Test Engineer to support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of advanced automotive diagnostic systems and scan tools., * Design, develop, and execute automated validation solutions for automotive diagnostic applications and tools

  • Own the full software testing lifecycle, including test planning, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting
  • Perform functional, regression, stress, usability, and security testing of software and hardware systems
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks
  • Execute release validation testing prior to software deployment
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings to engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Identify, document, and assist in root cause analysis of software and hardware issues
  • Validate corrective actions and software fixes
  • Develop new testing methodologies to improve product quality and testing efficiency
  • Generate detailed reports on software quality metrics and test outcomes

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with software testing, automation frameworks, and automotive diagnostics while thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment., * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or related technical field

  • Strong understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with: Selenium / Geb Framework / Groovy / Java / Gradle Build Systems
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing systems
  • Automotive software validation experience
  • Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket automotive diagnostic tools
  • Interest in automotive electrical systems and vehicle communications
  • Experience within automotive, mobility, or embedded software environments
