Job description

  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex workstation problems for end users.

  • Recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.

  • Deliver required desktop service levels by installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware and software.

  • Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to computers, including the installation of CPUs, I/O, NIC cards, hard drives, RAM, and so on.

  • Collaborate with IT Team to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment.

  • Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products, as required.

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and e-mails regarding desktop problems.

  • Respond to and perform move, add, and change requests as they are submitted.

  • Ensure that physical desktop connections (i.e. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working order.

  • Prepare tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance, followed by providing performance statistics and reports.

  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.

  • Maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equipment.

  • Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.

  • Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors, as necessary.

  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as requested.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Hardware maintenance?, * Experience: Minimum (1) year of hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, with working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and experience working in a healthcare environment highly desired.

  • Education: Degree in Information Systems or related field required or equivalent work experience.

  • License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and A+, MCSE, MCSA and/or MCS Azure highly desired.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between clinics and offices.
  • Smart phone: Must have personal SMART phone with adequate data plan.
