IT WMS Specialist

As a WMS Specialist within the IT Applications department, you are the one who translates customer requirements and requests from the organization into solutions. Beyond that, you are a source of knowledge and like to share this with your colleagues from Support, Development and Project Management.

After an introduction to our software packages and business processes, you are responsible for the timely delivery of changes and (partial) projects., * Translating functional requirements of the customer and organization into solutions

• Configure and test the WMS system and related solutions
• You are a source of knowledge for your colleagues from Support, Development and Project Management as well as your own team of WMS Specialists.
• Provide 2nd line support to internal and/or external customers
• Communication with other IT departments and Operations

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * An Associate’s Degree in IT, business administration or equivalent experience in similar positions at least as important.

• Experience with configuring WMS systems, preferably Manhattan Associates PkMS/WMi
• You have SQL knowledge and experience and understand database relationships
• You have a firm footing and do not shy away from a challenge
• Thorough knowledge of logistics business processes
• You have a professional attitude and good communication skills
• You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• You are inquisitive, independent and have strong analytical skills
