This is an onsite position in our Reston, VA office location. Must be authorized to work in the US. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute across the full lifecycle of advanced flight management software. Our teams build customized solutions for both commercial and military aviation-supporting aircraft from helicopters to fixed-wing platforms.
In this role, you’ll apply rigorous avionics standards while helping drive innovations that enhance flight optimization and operational efficiency., * Develop avionics software solutions in line with company and industry standards
- Design scalable software architectures that evolve with product needs
- Contribute to all phases of development: design, coding, and documentation
- Solve complex technical challenges across new and existing systems
- Participate in code reviews and peer evaluations to ensure quality
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software engineering?, * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Willingness to travel up to 15%
What Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with flight management, autopilot, navigation, or other avionics systems
- Familiarity with software configuration and requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
- Knowledge of DO-178C certification processes
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, RS-422, ARINC 429, CAN bus, IEEE-1394)
- Background in avionics software development
