This is an excellent opportunity for someone who started their career in the field as a Pipefitter and has since progressed into detailing, BIM, VDC, or coordination.
The Opportunity:
They are looking for someone who truly understands how piping systems are installed in the field not just how they look on drawings.
You will play a key role bridging the gap between design and field execution, helping ensure projects are practical, coordinated, fabrication-ready, and buildable before work reaches site.
You’ll work closely with field operations, fabrication teams, engineering, and project leadership across complex industrial and mission critical projects., * Lead piping system BIM/VDC coordination
- Produce and review fabrication/shop drawings
- Identify clashes, coordination issues, and constructability concerns early in the process
- Work closely with field and fabrication teams to improve installation efficiency
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Operations teams
- Support prefabrication and modular construction strategies
- Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and executable in the field
Requirements
Do you have experience in Working on construction projects?, * Background as a Pipefitter or hands-on piping professional
- Experience transitioning into detailing, BIM, VDC, or coordination
- Strong Revit and Navisworks experience
- Strong understanding of piping installation methods and constructability
- Ability to identify problems before they become field issues
- Comfortable communicating across field, fabrication, engineering, and project teams
- Able to bridge the gap between design and real-world execution
