Job description

  • Install, maintain, and manage Windows and Linux operating system patches, updates, and repositories.
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize Perl and PowerShell scripts to support system operations and automation.
  • Maintain network infrastructure including Windows Server DNS, account management systems, Cisco firewalls, switches, and Synology NAS environments.
  • Conduct remediation activities related to Government Nessus vulnerability scans and cybersecurity findings.
  • Develop, update, and maintain network, systems, and operational documentation.
  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux operating system configurations, including McAfee security services.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation technologies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 6+ years of experience Schedule: First Shift

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required (U.S. citizenship required), * Strong experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Experience managing software patching, updates, and repository maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Perl and PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server DNS and account management administration.
  • Experience with Cisco firewalls, switches, and enterprise network environments.
  • Familiarity with Synology NAS administration.
  • Experience supporting Nessus vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts.
  • Strong technical documentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain secure network and system infrastructures.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
