Job description

In this role, you will work with a team focused on improving product quality and delivery performance. You will partner with engineering and business teams to increase system reliability, reduce defects, and strengthen overall product health., * Build and maintain automated test suites to validate product quality and release readiness

  • Execute targeted manual testing where it adds the most value
  • Enable teams with effective test management practices that improve delivery outcomes
  • Partner with engineers to expand test coverage and reduce defect leakage
  • Continuously improve testing strategies, tooling, and execution to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tooling?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3 plus years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with API testing (Swagger, REST Assured).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects effectively.
  • Maintain documentation for test cases, scripts, and automation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, * Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript
  • Strong API testing capabilities
  • Advanced SQL skills for data validation and analysis
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using data-driven approaches, * Accelerate delivery of business value by improving testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Increase release confidence through strong automation, validation, and defect prevention
  • Reduce production risk by minimizing change-related incidents
  • Improve system stability, resiliency, and overall application health
  • Drive continuous improvements that lead to better delivery outcomes and fewer defects
