Job description

  • Security Compliance: Maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) in accordance with government and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, FISMA).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Develop, update, and manage System Security Plans (SSPs) and track Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Continuous Monitoring: Conduct routine vulnerability scanning, log analysis, and system auditing.
  • Change Management: Assess the security impact of hardware, software, and firmware changes before implementation.
  • Incident Response: Act as the primary point of contact for security-related issues and coordinate incident investigations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vulnerability scanning implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related IT field. (Or 6 years of experience equivalency)

  • Experience: 10+ years of combined IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization experience.
  • Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 compliance, such as Security+, CGRC (formerly CAP), or CISSP.
  • Background Investigation: This role requires a federal background investigation. A current or prior DHS suitability is highly preferred.
