Job description
The SharePoint Administrator II is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of the organization’s Microsoft SharePoint environment. This mid-level role works independently on routine tasks and collaborates with senior staff on complex projects, serving as a primary point of contact for user support and site management, * Administer and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments, including site collections, permissions, and content management
- Create and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts based on business requirements
- Manage user access, security groups, and permission levels in alignment with organizational policies
- Monitor system performance, storage usage, and proactively resolve issues
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to end users, troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, user guides, and configuration records
- Assist in the planning and execution of migrations, upgrades, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate)
- Enforce governance policies and best practices for SharePoint usage across the organization
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * 3+ years of hands-on SharePoint administration experience
- Proficiency with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 admin centers
- Solid understanding of SharePoint permissions, site architecture, and content types
- Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus
- Familiarity with Active Directory / Azure AD and user provisioning
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred:
- Microsoft 365 Certifications a plus
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
- CompTIA A+,
