Job description

  • Work with business and engineering teams to identify and design security software architecture for implementing new solutions, products and modules.

  • Architect and implement secure-at-default security libraries and security features and services for the entire product portfolio.

  • Work with Security Architect and cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement security features according to product roadmaps.

  • Determine testing requirements and strategies, automate security testing using a variety of scripting and open source tools.

  • Identify and develop internal security solutions to supplement existing commercial and open source tools and solutions to harden overall security.

  • Mentor junior Software Engineers.

  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to security architectural solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 12+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering and end-to-end architecture at scale.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt new technologies and tools.

  • Demonstrated expertise in Java, C/C++.

  • Demonstrated expertise in network protocols.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing security features/services/solutions.

  • Proficiency in microservices architecture and relevant frameworks/tools.

  • Strong project planning and execution skills.

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills and coordination with peers, end-users, and management.

  • Good analytical and debugging skills; creative ability, good organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Secure Boot and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).

  • Proficiency in audio and video streaming protocols.

  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
