Join our team as an Low Voltage Project Manager to lead impactful projects that shape infrastructure while advancing your career in a dynamic environment!, * Lead and supervise all phases of telecommunications and low voltage work on major construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, schedule, quality standards and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Develop, review & update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee daily site activities, managing subcontractors, and monitoring progress against milestones.
- Manage project budgets, track costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Review & administer contract and the change order process for subcontractors to maintain project integrity.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed; conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards on-site.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Working on construction projects in a civil infrastructure role?, We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Project Manager with experience leading telecommunication/data infrastructure scopes to oversee complex major facility construction projects, primarily in the aviation and data center sectors. This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, extensive experience in telecommunications systems (and related IP based systems), and a passion for driving project excellence from inception to completion.
This candidate must have experience supervising/managing the following scopes of work, including but not limited to fiber/copper backbone cabling, building out telecommunication closets, CAT5/6 cabling distribution, outside plant cabling, coordination of networks, IP based systems, security systems, coordination of BACNET/MODBUS interfaces, etc.
This candidate must have experience working on airport projects.
In addition to the above, experience with the following scopes is preferred, but not mandatory: substation and electric closet buildout, medium-voltage work, feeder distribution, installation and testing of switchgear/panelboards/transformers, branch electrical fit-out work (including lighting)., * Extensive experience in construction management with a focus on telecommunications & low voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge in telecommunications, low voltage systems, raceway/pathway work, general construction
- Proven supervising experience leading large teams on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of reading/interpreting drawings & specifications
- Strong knowledge in generating estimates and generating/updating schedules.
- Strong knowledge in quality control
- Familiarity with contracts and administration.
- Deep understanding of OSHA regulations related to telecom/electrical work and general construction safety standards.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and project documentation
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software tools.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
Other Requirements
· Bachelors degree (minimum) in Engineering or Construction Management
· Minimum 10 years of construction management and/or engineering work. There should be significant experience in managing telecommunications on large scale infrastructure projects.
· Experience in airport and/or data center projects
