Job description

We are seeking an Epic Certified Configuration Analyst (Tapestry) to support the build, configuration, testing, and deployment of Epic’s Tapestry (Utilization Management) solution. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, operational subject matter experts (SMEs), technical teams, and downstream Epic application teams to translate requirements into scalable configuration and to ensure end-to-end readiness for go-live., * Configure, build, and maintain Epic Tapestry functionality aligned to approved requirements, policies, and operational workflows

  • Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to elicit requirements, facilitate design workshops, and translate needs into configuration decisions

  • Perform impact analysis for change requests; recommend standardization and best-practice configuration approaches

  • Produce and maintain build documentation, decision rationale, and traceability (requirements * configuration * test coverage)

  • Develop and execute unit and system test scripts; support integrated and end-to-end testing with cross-application teams

  • support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) readiness, execution, issue triage, and business sign-off activities

  • Balance and align priorities across configuration, testing support, defect resolution, and release timelines in partnership with project leadership

  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness checkpoints, and deployment activities, including coordination of required business inputs

  • Provide go-live and hypercare support, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and configuration updates to stabilize operations

  • Participate in project governance (status reporting, RAID-risks/assumptions/issues/dependencies-tracking, escalation) and contribute to continuous process improvement

Requirements

Epic Tapestry Certification

Experience supporting Medical Management/Utilization Management within the module

Experience supporting a new build Go-live

Ability travel onsite to Louisville KY one week a month Bachelor’s degree

Benefits & conditions

This is a remote role with limited travel. Compensation is based on experience ranging from 50-65/hr with possible flexibility for the right candidate.
