Job description

The successful candidate for this position will oversee the Mobile Ministry’s staff and non-medical operations and build a network of support for our clients through community engagement.

Reports to: Sierra Pregnancy + Health Director of Clinic Operations

Ministry Purpose: This position plays a significant role in achieving the religious mission of the ICU Mobile Unit and, thus, has a ministry purpose., Mission & Culture: * Adheres to the clinic’s Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Code of Christian Conduct, and all organization policies. * Supports the religious mission of the clinic and encourages the spiritual growth of staff and clients. * Reinforces the humanity of the unborn child with patients, their guests, staff, and others. Administration * Responsible for the day-to-day Mobile Ministry operations and may delegate duties, including but not limited to stocking of supplies, documentation, and mobile mechanical operations. * Strong adherence to client confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. * Upholds the center’s policies and procedures. * Ensure all communications are returned promptly. Oversee the retrieval, sorting, and distribution of all communication; Ensure accurate documentation of client visits. * Prepare and maintain memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested. * Enter and check Mobile Ministry client data in database and maintain accurate center documents and compile monthly mobile statistics. * Manages all Mobile Ministry paperwork, receipts, mileage, and forms to maintain accurate expenditures and to Aid in the compilation of monthly/yearly budgets and statistics. * Submit monthly statistics report to ICU Mobile promptly. * Ensure receptionist duties [dispatch center] for Mobile Ministry are completed: answering the ICU line, screening potential clients, scheduling appointments, checking Mobile Ministry phone voice mail. * Ensure mobile unit maintenance is completed in a timely manner; maintain necessary safety standards and maintenance schedule.

Client Services * Ensure prayer is an integral part of each day for mobile staff and volunteers. * Ensure evangelism tools and methods are utilized with each client and/or visitor. * Assist in evaluating and implementing Mobile Ministry client services programs and materials. * Serve as a Patient Advocate as scheduled (see Patient Advocate Job Description).

Community Engagement * Develop a Network of Support for our clients by identifying ministries and community agencies/facilities that will meet the core needs of the client in the various mobile service location areas. * Establish and cultivate relationships with the identified ministries, agencies/facilities to develop ministry and community partners. * Train the Mobile Team to utilize partnerships in establishing a community support network for the client. * Coordinate mobile tours, observations, community appearances, and participation at other venues as opportunities arise, or as requested by ICU Mobile.

Training and Supervision * Assists the SPH Training + Education Department in the onboarding of Patient Advocates and ICU Mobile Nurses. * Participate in weekly meetings with supervisors, training, and conferences as requested. * Coordinate scheduling of mobile staff and direct daily non-medical task assignments. * Encourage and help equip mobile staff with day-to-day operational tasks. * Comply with federal, state, and licensure, supervision, and professional continuing education and requirements.

Public Relations: * Outside of clinic regular hours, attend annual fundraisers, tour days, and other all-staff events. * Assist in increasing the exposure of our services to outside partners, churches, and organizations. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications: * Is a committed Christian who is a member of good standing in a local church, demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and has a sincere, mature faith and can share the gospel. * Demonstrates maturity, professional appearance and conduct, stability, and initiative resulting in the ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision. * Expresses a desire to reach out to at-risk patients considering abortion and those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, hysterectomy, and any other related reproductive losses. * Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death and would not under any circumstances refer or advise a woman to terminate a pregnancy. (When a situation arises where a woman’s life is at risk, we take measures to preserve her life, hoping that the woman and her child can both be saved.) * Ability to show Christ-centered care, compassion, and understanding to those in need. * Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, including listening, patience, staying calm and composed during various interactions, and communicating professionally and effectively through phone, text, email, and in-person with patients, clients, staff, volunteers, and diverse audiences. * Demonstrates strong spiritual and administrative leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team, provide spiritual leadership and discipleship, encouragement and solve problems independently. * Experience training individuals and small groups. * Ability to multitask and work well in a mobile medical clinic setting as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and experience with proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and appropriate software, scheduling and record-keeping platforms. * Ability to engage with clients and community in various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. * Possess an associate or bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of work experience or equivalent. * Experience in a pregnancy center is preferred but not required. * Valid Driver’s License and insurance and willingness/ability to drive an RV (ICU Mobile Unit).
