Job description

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot intercom, clocks, and paging systems.
  • Infrastructure & Headend Setup: Build out data racks, install headend equipment, and neatly organize/label patch panels and enclosures.
  • System Programming: Configure, program, and test intercom hardware, IP clocks, and school / facility paging systems.
  • Client Training: Conduct professional walkthroughs and train end-users/clients on how to operate the installed systems.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and accurately interpret electronic schematics, line diagrams, and architectural blueprints.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Troubleshooting electrical systems?, We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented INTERCOM Technician with 3-5 years of hands-on experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting Intercom, IP Clock, and paging systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in school intercom systems. Training in Bogen and Dukane a plus but not required. Technical problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship., * Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated low-voltage installation experience, specifically working with Intercom and IP Clock systems.

  • Product Knowledge: Preferred experience working with Bogen and Dukane or major school intercom systems.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work comfortably in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and stand for extended periods.
  • License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately for system design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in field service environments with the ability to adapt quickly to different site conditions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, cabling techniques, and basic understanding of networking.
