Job description
Silvervine Software is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will work on client-facing software solutions, collaborating closely with Project Managers and senior developers to deliver high-quality work on schedule. This is a great opportunity for a developer who is eager to grow their skills in a structured, team-oriented environment., * Review and manage your assigned task queue daily, prioritizing work according to the schedule set by your assigned Project Manager.
- Complete tasks with a quality-first mindset, striving to deliver correct, well-crafted solutions within the designated timeframe.
- Address âNot Approvedâ tasks promptly when they result from coding errors or mistakes. Coordinate with the PM when rejections are due to new or changed customer requirements, as these will be rescheduled accordingly.
- Post LIVE tasks in alignment with customer-specific posting windows, coordinating timing with the PM to ensure compliance.
- Maintain moderate, professional contact with customers as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate as a team player and assist in mentoring Programmer I-level developers.
Requirements
Do you have experience in jQuery?, Beginner proficiency - has a basic understanding of the task at hand and can apply patterns from existing code:
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- SQL (stored procedures, user-defined functions)
Intermediate proficiency - can work independently with minimal guidance from senior developers:
- ColdFusion / HTML / DOM manipulation
- CSS
- SQL (general queries and data manipulation)
Intermediate familiarity with internal systems/modules:
- Batch processing
- Forms and Memos
- General PTS functionality
- Policy and Quote modules
