Job description

As a Mid-Level Test Systems Engineer, you will execute and support application, system, and integration testing efforts across distributed environments. You will work within traditional, Agile, and DevOps pipelines to validate system performance, support defect resolution, and ensure compliance with mission requirements., * Perform test and evaluation activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments

  • Execute testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines using government and industry quality standards
  • Conduct independent integration testing of system software and hardware to verify compliance with requirements
  • Plan and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages
  • Support technical investigations, defect identification, and issue resolution during testing activities, At Mission Intelligence Group, engineers are trusted to focus on mission outcomes, not bureaucracy. Requirements

Do you have experience in Defect tracking tools?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Test Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree
  • 6+ years of experience with test management and defect-tracking tools
  • Experience working within traditional, Agile, and DevOps development environments and associated testing strategies
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph, * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
  • Experience with three or more of the following tools and technologies:
  • JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee
  • GitHub / GitLab
  • Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, JavaScript
  • AWS and C2S
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages
  • Working knowledge of software development frameworks
