Job description

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our AI Platform team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile full stack engineer with experience building modern web applications across the entire stack. You’ll be working in an AI-driven environment, with the core focus on full stack engineering across modern web applications. This role requires a collaborative individual who can contribute across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and cloud layers while working alongside data scientists and product teams. This is a remote position.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications and platform features that are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Develop and maintain software solutions that comply with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 AA. Integrate accessibility best practices into code, testing, and design processes.
  • Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into applications where they add clear value to the user experience.
  • Implement best practices for application security and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and protection regulations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes to allow for smoother releases
  • Support cloud infrastructure optimizing for performance, cost, and security.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Web applications?, * 3+ years of experience in product or enterprise software development.

  • Hands-on experience on the full software stack including Frontend (Angular/React), Backend / API (Python / Node.js / Golang), Databases (such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB) and Infrastructure (AWS/Azure, Terraform)
  • Experience implementing accessible features in web applications.
  • Experience building full stack features across frontend (Angular or React), backend APIs (Python/Golang or Node.js), and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
  • Familiarity with AI or machine learning integrations is a plus; hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or similar is desirable but not required.
  • Awareness of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns or similar AI integration techniques is a bonus.
  • Solid technical abilities in software development, testing, monitoring, performance tuning and deployment pipelines
  • Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for technology and commitment to staying current on modern engineering practices and emerging capabilities.

4.54.5 out of 5 stars Columbus, OH 43230 Remote $58 - $68 an hour - Contract, Pay: $58.00 - $68.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
